My Super Bowl Celebration
I am not a sports fan but on Super Bowl Sunday, I decided to celebrate. Idea! Soup for Super Bowl. So I made a large pot of vegetable soup. Then me, myself and I sat down to eat lunch with a cup of tea.
Me suggested the soup needed salt. I told her to count her blessings that she had soup to eat. Myself said the tea was too strong. That didn’t bother me. Me made the tea.

That's cute, Pat!
How cute! Soup for Superbowl. Sounds perfect to me.
BUT, did you actually watch the game?
Had the g-sons and they watched the Super Bowl in the front room while I cozied into the back bedroom and watched tv back there. Should have been writing but needed a break. I'm not a sports fan, either.
Accomplished some writing--wrote a Haiku, a limerick, and an attempt at a poem. They can be found under V.L. Gregory on David Harrison's Word-of-the-Month Poetry page.
Now, to see if this will post--for some reason, your site doesn't want to accept me.
Okay, this is weird. I could have sworn I posted on this.
Pat, I wanted to know if you actually watched the game while you ate your soup!
Strange that Ginny had trouble posting too.
Just checking to see if my comment got posted. Have tried several other times but they never went through--glad to see this one did. I DO follow you, just haven't been able, for some reason, to post.
Hi Grandma!
This is cute : )... I tried to watch the superbowl simply for the commercials, but I ended up falling asleep on the couch... that must show my love for football.
